- Equipment Overview
The liquefied petroleum gas cylinder shot blasting cleaning machine is an automated equipment specifically designed for the surface treatment of cylinders. It removes impurities such as oxide scale, welding slag, and rust on the outer wall of the cylinder through high-speed shot blasting, and at the same time forms a uniform roughness to enhance the adhesion of the subsequent sprayed coating. This equipment complies with the surface treatment standard of “GB/T 18851.4-2022” and is suitable for batch processing of various LPG cylinders (with specifications ranging from 3kg to 50kg).
- Core Functions
- High-efficiency cleaning: A centrifugal shot blasting machine (with a power of 15 to 30kW) is adopted, and steel shot (Φ0.8 to 1.2mm) is shot at a speed of 60 to 80m/s, with a coverage rate of ≥98%.
- Automated operation: The variable frequency speed regulation conveying system (chain plate or roller conveyor type) realizes the combined movement of self-rotation and revolution of the gas cylinders, ensuring thorough cleaning without any dead corners.
- Environmental protection design: Equipped with a pulse reverse blowing dust removal system (filtration accuracy ≤5μm), the dust emission concentration is less than 20mg/m³, meeting environmental protection requirements.
- Process parameters
- Processing time: The cycle time for a single bottle is 3 to 5 minutes (adjusted according to the degree of rust).
- Roughness control: The treated surface is of Sa 2.5 grade and Ra 20-50μm.
- Steel shot recovery rate: Magnetic separation + air separation system, steel shot recycling rate ≥95%.
- Safety and Maintenance
- Protective measures: The equipment has a sealed cabin and explosion-proof motor to prevent dust leakage and explosion risks.
- Daily maintenance: Regularly inspect the wear of the throwing head, replenish steel shot (with a wear rate of ≤5kg/ ton of steel cylinder), and clean the dust removal filter cartridge.
- Technical advantages
Compared with the pickling process, it causes no chemical pollution and avoids the risk of hydrogen embrittlement.
Enhance the fatigue strength of the gas cylinder and extend its service life;
It can be integrated into automated production lines with an efficiency of 200 to 400 bottles per hour.
