Equipment Overview

This equipment is a dedicated device for strength testing in the production of gas cylinders. It is composed of a frame, bottle feeding device, water filling, pressurization and pressure holding, drainage device, water tank, booster cylinder, centralized control cabinet and electrical control, etc. The workstations can be selected. This machine features a high degree of automation, convenient operation, safety and reliability. It is an essential equipment for the production of gas cylinders. This machine adopts a turn over type structure, which saves the occupied space of the equipment and reduces the time for drainage. It integrates water addition, pressurization, pressure relief and drainage. Each workstation can be controlled independently. Through automated turning over, water injection pressurization and pressure holding tests, it is ensured that the sealing performance and strength of the gas cylinders at the rated working pressure comply with national standards (such as GB/T 9251, ISO 10460, etc.), and it is suitable for batch inspection of gas cylinders on the production line.

 

Main functions and working principles

  1. Turning over and feed

It adopts a hydraulic or electric drive system to automatically turn over the gas cylinder to a horizontal position, facilitating water filling and air venting.

The turning over Angle is adjustable (0° to 360°), suitable for different specifications of gas cylinders (15kg/50kg, etc.).

  1. Add water and pressurize

The high-pressure water pump injects clean water into the gas cylinder, with a pressure range of 0 to 6.0MPa (adjustable).

It is equipped with an exhaust valve to ensure that there are no bubbles interfering in the cylinder before the test.

  1. Pressure holding test

Automatic pressure-holding timing (usually 30 to 60 seconds), pressure sensor monitors leakage rate, and automatic alarm when the deviation is exceeded.

  1. Drainage reset

After the o test is completed, the water is automatically drained, and the cylinder is turned over back to the upright position to proceed to the next process.

  • Safety protection: Multiple safety interlocks (pressure overload protection, emergency stop button, protective cover).
  • Strong compatibility: It can be adapted to various bottle types (fixture replacement is required), and the test results comply with international standards such as DOT and CE.

 

Safety Precautions

Before operation, check the sealing of the pipeline. It is strictly forbidden to disassemble the gas cylinder under pressure.

The test pressure must not exceed 1.5 times the design pressure of the cylinder.

  1. Regularly maintain the water pump, valves and pressure gauges to ensure their accuracy.
