Equipment Overview

This equipment is a dedicated device for strength testing in the production of gas cylinders. It is composed of a frame, bottle feeding device, water filling, pressure holding and pressurization, drainage device, water tank, booster cylinder, centralized control cabinet electrical control and other parts. The workstations can be selected. This machine features a high degree of automation, is easy to operate, safe and reliable. It is an essential equipment for the production of gas cylinders. This machine is a through-type hydraulic testing machine (online), which is connected to the conveyor line for use. It integrates water addition, pressurization, pressure relief and drainage. Each workstation can be controlled independently. Through automated water injection pressurization and pressure holding tests, it ensures that the sealing performance and strength of the gas cylinders at the rated working pressure comply with national standards (such as GB/T 9251, ISO 10460, etc.), and is suitable for batch inspection of gas cylinders on the production line.

Main functions and working principles

  1. Water injection and pressurization

The high-pressure water pump injects clean water into the steel cylinder, with a pressure range of 0 to 6.0MPa (adjustable).

It is equipped with an exhaust valve to ensure that there are no air bubbles interfering in the cylinder before the test.

  1. Pressure-holding test

The automatic pressure-holding timer (usually 30 to 60 seconds) is used, and the pressure sensor monitors the leakage rate. An automatic alarm is triggered when the tolerance is exceeded.

  1. Drain and reset

After the test is completed, the water is automatically drained and proceeds to the next process.

Safety Precautions

1.Before operation, check the sealing of the pipeline. It is strictly forbidden to disassemble the gas cylinder under pressure.

  1. The test pressure must not exceed 1.5 times the design pressure of the gas cylinder.
  2. Regularly maintain the water pump, valves and pressure gauges to ensure accuracy.
