This powder coating line is specially designed for surface coating of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders. It adopts advanced electrostatic spraying technology to ensure that the coating on the cylinders is uniform, durable and meets safety standards. The entire line is composed of core sections such as pretreatment, powder coating, and curing, featuring both high-efficiency automation and environmental protection performance, and is suitable for mass production.

  1. Process flow

  • Pretreatment stage: The gas cylinders undergo degreasing, phosphating, passivation and other processes to remove surface oil stains and impurities, form an anti-corrosion base, and enhance the adhesion of the coating.

  • Electrostatic powder coating: Epoxy/polyester powder is charged and adsorbed onto the surface of the gas cylinder through an automatic spray gun. The coating thickness is controllable (usually 80-120μm), with no dripping and no solvent evaporation.

  • High-temperature curing: The gas cylinder enters the curing furnace (180-200℃), and after the powder melts and flows out, a dense protective layer is formed, which has corrosion resistance, impact resistance and weather resistance.

  • High adaptability: Compatible with gas cylinders of different specifications (3kg-50kg), and convenient for model change and adjustment.
